Stafford MP Jeremy Lefroy has welcomed changes by the Government that will make it easier for first time buyers to get on to the housing ladder.
Commenting after a Westminster Hall debate in the House of Commons which discussed the vital role that the Government can play in supporting first time buyers, Mr Lefroy said:
“I want everyone who wants to to have the chance to own their own home. The Government has an important role to play to help achieve this and to encourage first time buyers into the property market.
“Schemes like NewBuy, which the Government announced last week, will provide real support for first time buyers in Stafford by helping them finance their deposit and reducing the amount they need to save to get a foot on the ladder. It is great news for first time buyers and the whole housing market that the Government is providing real help for those that aspire to own their own home.”
